A true Catholic would still believe that there is a God and that he still loves and cares for us. It is not the Catholic religion that we should blame but the leaders of it. But just remember that not all priests are rapist, there is still good in the world and there is no shame in being Catholic. Have decided to make no further contributions to my church or to anything relating to the training of Catholic priests. I have written to the Archbishops of Westminster and Southwark on this matter as well as the local Bishop and parish priest. Whether I shall continue as a practicing Roman Catholic is under review.
