Members of the Catholic Church were guilty of horrendous crimes in this matter but not the Church as a whole.As a Catholic I am innocent.
It would be wrong to blame the Protestant Churches for the crimes of the Shankill Butchers against innocent Catholics during our ‘recent troubles’.If you see what I mean.
All Catholics should not be blamed in this instance as all Catholics at the time of Christ should not be blamed for the betrayal of Judas or the denial of Peter.
