What made you start this podcast?

I was told as a child and most of my adult life that I talked too much! After speaking on stages and loving it and over 16 years in marketing and seven running my own business, I knew I had a lot to say about all things marketing and how to navigate life as a business owner, a mum, a step mum and a dog mum!

I wanted to create something that could support and help other busy business owners that they could listen too while getting ready in the morning or doing the school run!

What have you learned about your subject thanks to this podcast?

Wow what haven’t I learnt! Even though I knew I had a lot of knowledge around this subject. I still learnt so much.

Every other episode is an interview and I have been lucky to interview some of my industry greats like Amy Porterfield, Michael Hyatt, Dean Graziosi, Jasmine Star, Stu McLaren, Mike Stelzner, Joyann Boyce, Dr Nadia Brown,  Sonia Thompson, Marcus Sheridan, Mark Schaefer, Mary Hyatt. And the stuff I have learnt has been amazing!

The one take away I got from all of them is: the one thing that sets successful business owners apart is the tenacity they have to keep going!

What has your experience of podcasting been? What do you love / hate about the process?

I am on episode 215 of the podcast and have put an episode out every week without fail! It’s hard work it takes time and you need a team.

In the early days I did everything: editing the transcript, uploading, putting out social posts. Now I have a team that does all that so all I have to do is record it, which I love.

You would think its hard to come up with subject ideas for all those episodes but it wasn’t, there is always something to say!

The thing I love most is that I have got to sit and chat to people who I would never normally have had the chance to. I get to pick their brains for free and its amazing! I have made some great connections.

If someone wants to start listening to your podcast, which episode would you recommend they start with? Why?

Tough question as there is soooo many of them! I would start with Ep 86 How To Achieve More By Doing Less with Michael Hyatt! There were so many good take aways!

Which other podcasts do you love listening to?

Amy Porterfield  Online Marketing Made Easy Podcast. Rachel Rodgers Hello Seven and The Life Coach School Podcast by Brooke Castillo
