The world is a very uncertain place at the moment. Many people have lost their lives to this virus, but many places look like they are becoming safer again. Death tolls in some countries are dropping, as are infection rates, and people are starting to risk exploring the outside world again. Some children are back at school, many people are back at work. But in other places, the outlook is a bit less promising. The figures are still frightening and measures seem inadequate.
In the midst of this precariousness, there are still people getting together, though mostly virtually, to create videos, pictures and words that lift our hearts. Here are our favourite examples from this week:
‘I am truly grateful, I am proud to be a nurse, thank you.’

This BBC reporter was interviewing a family of migrant workers.
They'd been walking for days just to get home.
During the interview, he saw the man had no shoes. So he took off his own — and gave them to him.

Actor @McConaughey details his campaigns to unite the nation in a non-partisan effort to defeat the coronavirus pandemic. "Hey it's about us, as in the USA. We have to stay together, this is a human thing. Don't be divided. We don't need two wars. We have one, against the virus." pic.twitter.com/ys8KY0bLvz
