In parts of the world, the outlook is brighter. In others, there are still grave difficulties. However, we are learning more about COVID-19 and we are hopefully gaining the skills and knowledge to have a chance of ultimately grabbing the upper hand. There are still big questions, and a lot is relying on a vaccination that may prove to be difficult, but as well as the scientists and medics working day after day, there are also those who are more light-hearted or artistic.
