The Lincoln Lawyer
Netflix | Season: 4 | Release date: Thursday, February 5, 2026
Genre: Legal drama, crime thriller, and mystery series
The hit series The Lincoln Lawyer, starring Manuel García-Rulfo, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Neve Campbell, returns on February 5, 2026, with its highly anticipated fourth season.
The new installment adapts Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence and features another big trial, with the twist that this time Mickey Haller will be the defendant.
“We are absolutely thrilled to share the fourth season of The Lincoln Lawyer with the world,” said executive co-producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez.
“After the incredibly tense and emotional climax of season three, the stakes have never been higher, because this time Mickey is the client. With his own life and reputation on the line, he will need the strength and support of his entire team, and his entire family, to fight for his future.”
While official details of the fourth season’s plot are still under wraps, executive producer Ted Humphrey has provided a crucial clue: while Mickey Haller usually works within legal technicalities to obtain acquittals, in this personal scenario — where he is the defendant — he is forced to seek the absolute truth to clear his reputation once and for all.
Beyond a “not guilty” verdict and technical acquittal, our favorite lawyer will have to identify and publicly expose the true perpetrator of the crime in order to free himself from the stigma of reasonable doubt.
Cross
Prime Video | Season: 2 | Release date: Wednesday, February 11, 2026
Genre: Crime thriller, psychological drama
Buckle up for Cross‘s next mission because it looks intense!
Based on James Patterson’s popular crime novels, the murder mystery series, starring Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, follows a Washington, D.C.-based detective who uses his doctorate in psychology to investigate serial killers.
In the first season, the crime solver is haunted by both his latest case, the murder of a beloved local activist, and the unsolved murder of his beloved wife a year earlier. After eight fast-paced episodes, Cross ends up with both first-season mysteries solved, but as any fan of the original novels knows, there’s always another case on the horizon.
Prime Video has shared the following logline for the second season:
“Season 2 pushes the series into a bolder, more dangerous chapter as billionaire business titan Lance Durand calls the FBI for protection after receiving a death threat — one that links him to the murder of a billionaire playboy. Detective Alex Cross and FBI Agent Kayla Craig lead a new joint mission to protect Durand and to find the killer, who leaves behind gruesome clues. Meanwhile, John Sampson, Cross’ partner and longtime best friend, makes an unexpected connection.”
Let’s remember that, unlike the popular Alex Cross films, such as Kiss the Girls (1997) or Along Came a Spider (2001), the Prime Video series does not adapt a specific novel, but uses the protagonist as a starting point to tell new stories.
According to its showrunner, Ben Watkins, the aim is to focus on a different killer in each episode without following a particular book. Thus, after an independent first season, the second part will continue to explore the character’s universe in general.
The new season of Cross will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2026, releasing the first three of its eight episodes. The season finale will premiere on March 18.
Como Agua para Chocolate (Like Water for Chocolate)
HBO Max | Season: 2 | Release date: Sunday, February 15, 2026
Genre: Romance, magical realism, tragedy
The second and final season of HBO’s original drama series, Como Agua para Chocolate (Like Water for Chocolate), will debut on Sunday, February 15, on HBO Latino in the US and will be available to stream on HBO Max. The six-episode season will premiere weekly through Sunday, March 22.
In the final season of Como Agua para Chocolate, the narrative places Tita before the promise of a different destiny alongside Dr. Brown, who represents a refuge of serenity and sweetness. However, Pedro’s return rekindles a sentimental fire that defies all logic.
HBO has revealed that against the backdrop of a Mexico marked by violence and social transformation, the second season “will continue to tell a story of love and struggle, rich in flavors and traditions.”
This time, trauma, loss, and secrets will push each character to face their limits and decide how much they are willing to risk for love and freedom. “This will be a season of change and growth for many of our characters, especially Tita,” said executive producer Salma Hayek Pinault, founder of Ventanarosa Productions.
Between the alchemy of the kitchen and the whirlwind of their feelings, Tita and Pedro will discover that some loves are destined to burn eternally.
Paradise
Hulu | Season: 2 | Release date: Monday, February 23, 2026
Genre: Political thriller, post-apocalyptic drama, science fiction
Hulu’s thriller Paradise takes us to a future where a global cataclysm has forced survivors to take refuge in an underground bunker the size of a city. Created by Dan Fogelman, the series follows Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) on his mission to protect President Cal Bradford (James Marsden). However, the president’s unexpected assassination not only disrupts Collins’ life, but threatens to shatter the peace of this seemingly perfect community.
At the end of the first season, Xavier manages to escape the bunker after discovering that his wife—and other survivors—are still alive on the surface. This discovery propels him into a risky adventure in the outside world, a territory once believed to be uninhabitable.
Regarding the focus of the new episodes, Fogelman told The Hollywood Reporter:
“We are going to pretty much be picking up in real time… We’re going to live in both worlds. There is going to be a little bit of a start where we go on a journey with Xavier. A very exciting, emotional, big journey, and then we will also be living in our downstairs world of the bunker, and forces will eventually be colliding. That’s basically the plan.”
The second season of Paradise will premiere on Monday, February 23, 2026, on Hulu. This second installment consists of eight episodes: the first three will be available on the day of the debut, followed by weekly premieres until the grand finale on March 30.
CIA
CBS | Season Premiere | Release date: Monday, February 23, 2026
Genre: Action-thriller, police procedural, espionage drama
CBS strengthens its programming with the premiere of CIA, a new spin-off of the FBI franchise that explores the clash between two opposing worlds: the rebellious espionage of the Central Intelligence Agency and the strict discipline of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
This crime drama, created by David Hudgins and Dick Wolf (the mastermind behind the Law & Order and Chicago universes), focuses on an unlikely pair. The plot follows a bold, rule-breaking CIA case officer (Tom Ellis) who must team up with an experienced, methodical FBI special agent (Nick Gehlfuss). Working out of the CIA station in New York, this duo must learn to collaborate to investigate criminals who threaten national security, discovering that their marked differences may actually be their greatest strength.
In an interview with Parade, Tom Ellis revealed that the series is based on a real historical premise: the intelligence failures detected after the September 11 attacks.
“Part of the inspiration for this show from David Hudgins, who’s writing it, was that after 9/11, it became very apparent that these two, the FBI and the CIA, these two massive agencies, didn’t cooperate with each other and they didn’t share a lot of information. And as a result, there were huge issues with intelligence failures”, the actor said. “There was talk that if they maybe had shared their information with each other, 9/11 might not have happened, so the notion that the CIA can’t work on home soil became very different.”
The premiere is scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026, on CBS. For digital platform users, Paramount+ subscribers with the SHOWTIME plan will be able to watch the series live simultaneously with its television broadcast.
