How to get your podcast featured in the Podcast Showcase

Podcaster

Podcasts have never been more popular and everybody is on the search for new podcasts to listen to. But as more podcasts are launched every day, it can be difficult to for podcasters to differentiate themselves and get the word out.

As a podcast listener, I want to help listeners to find new podcasts. And as a former podcaster, I want to help great podcasts be found.

The answer: the Podcast Showcase.

To date, 113 podcasts have been featured in the Podcast Showcase. From podcasts about comedy or feminism to podcasts about business and marketing, from podcasts about incels or Jeffrey Epstein to podcasts about regional accents or true crime, 113 podcast creators have submitted answers to my questions and had their moment of glory on Global Comment, a site that features writing from journalists around the world.

So what’s the catch?

There isn’t one! Honestly. There’s no fee and there are no hidden surprises. When I get your responses, I will queue them up to be published on the site with links to your podcast and social media.

We share every Showcase with our social media followers. We love it when you share your Showcase with your listeners too, who can be impressed that you’ve got media coverage, and we reshare those posts to our own readers, too.

But there’s no fine print, there’s no catch. Our readers want to hear podcast suggestions and we want to share them.

Who can take part

If you have a podcast with five or more episodes published, you can answer our questions to be part of the Podcast Showcase as long as you’re not doing anything illegal or disreputable!

How to take part

If you want to be showcased on Global Comment you have to do two things:

  1. Answer the six questions here
  2. Email your podcast art to editor@globalcomment.com

That’s it! Assuming you’re suitable (see “Who can take part”!), I’ll queue you up to be featured in our Podcast Showcase.

Then I’ll email you when it’s live and you can bask in the glory of the coverage that will hopefully get more listeners fascinated by what you’ve got to offer.
