Podcast Showcase: Kink in the Chain

Headphones

Welcome to the next in the Podcast Showcase series, where we share podcasts with you in the words of the podcasters themselves. This time, we talk to Kink in the Chain.

Sum up your podcast in three sentences

A podcast for new kinksters and old kinksters alike. For those who have questions and those who wants to relive being an early kinkster. Finally KITC is a podcast to learn about kink and BDSM news and to learn about new products.

Who is your ideal listener? Who loves your show?

Anyone kinky who needs help with BDSM relationships.

What made you start this podcast?

A long time ago, when my own family cast me out, the BDSM community was there to guide me. I consider them to be my family and I want to serve the community that I love so much in any way I can.

What have you learned about your subject thanks to this podcast?

That everyone does kink a little differently. Originally limited to my geographic area, I have been exposed to such a wide array of people.

What has your experience of podcasting been? What do you love / hate about the process?

I love meeting new people and doing the show itself. I’ve learned so much about SEO and marketing. The part I HATE is the actual editing process.

If someone wants to start listening to your podcast, which episode would you recommend they start with? Why?

We do have an archive with our original episodes, however I’d start at episode 50 and go from there. There is a lot more interaction once we picked up a co-host.

Which other podcasts do you love listening to?

I listen to podcasts such as The Savage Lovecast and a variety of tech podcasts.

If people want to find you online, where can they do so?
