Podcast Showcase: Entrepreneur’s Enigma

Podcast Showcase: Entrepreneur's Enigma

Welcome to the next in the Podcast Showcase series, where we share podcasts with you in the words of the podcasters themselves. This time, we talk to Entrepreneur’s Enigma.

Sum up your podcast in three sentences

Entrepreneur’s Enigma is a podcast about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. The wins and the fails told by people who have done it and are living it right now. Airs every Tuesday at 8am Eastern with bonus episodes Thursday at 8pm Eastern.

Who is your ideal listener? Who loves your show?

Business owners, entrepreneurs, startups, founders, VCs and angel investors.

What made you start this podcast?

I’ve been an entrepreneur for more than 15 years. I started Goldstein Media in 2007. Before that, I was a journalist for 6 years, so I guess interviewing is in my blood, I’ve been doing journalistic tasks since high school, where I ran the school paper and in college I wrote for the college newspaper at the University of Delaware.

What have you learned about your subject thanks to this podcast?

I’ve learned that we’re all in this giant puzzle together and that we need to stick together and that we’re all dealing with a lot of the same problems and feelings.

I also learned that Imposter Syndrome is a real thing as well. And that many of us face it in differing degrees from time to time.

What has your experience of podcasting been? What do you love / hate about the process?

I love podcasting. It’s enabled me to reach people I don’t normally have a reason to talk to.

The time commitment is tough at times, but well worth it.

What I dislike about podcasting is that some people just put out the show without a thought to production and that can be annoying at times.

If someone wants to start listening to your podcast, which episode would you recommend they start with? Why?

They’re all good. All my babies. It’s hard to pick just one. But the one with Guy Kawasaki is always a good place to start.

Which other podcasts do you love listening to?

Anything business, tech, entrepreneurial.

If people want to find you online, where can they do so?
