Anyone interested in learning about (and reducing) their impact. From a social standpoint to their environmental footprint.

If you enjoy hearing from passionate people who challenge the status quo, then this one’s for you.

What made you start this podcast?

Our love for the natural world. We wanted to deepen our knowledge in order to do our part to protect it. So we thought the best way to achieve that was to talk to experts around the world and share our learnings with listeners along the way.

What have you learned about your subject thanks to this podcast?

There’s no ‘perfect’ in living a sustainable life. There is only a spectrum of progress. One step today can be ten thousand tomorrow. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and one day you’ll look back and be amazed at the impact you’ve made through micro improvements over time.

What has your experience of podcasting been? What do you love / hate about the process?

Bootstrapping a podcast is a steep learning curve of overcoming technical difficulties and mastering (we still have a long way to go!) conversational nuance.

Hate the prep and time zones and technical glitches, which are par for the course. Absolutely love talking to passionate guests and sharing their learnings. We feel very privileged to be able to do that.

If someone wants to start listening to your podcast, which episode would you recommend they start with? Why?

Ah, too many to think of. But from a personal perspective, Meera Jain’s humble take on living sustainably at home. From a social enterprise and business perspective, try Simon Griffiths – the founder of ‘Who Gives A Crap’ toilet paper.

Which other podcasts do you love listening to?

Rich Roll, Tim Ferris and Sam Harris are our go-to shows. Masters of their craft who tease out insights from some of the world’s most impressive humans.

If people want to find you online, where can they do so?

You can subscribe to our newsletter here (we’re getting better at engaging with emails and newsletters!). Otherwise say hi on Facebook or Insta. Here’s our podcast page but you can subscribe from wherever you typically download your podcasts.
