When I say that March 2025 is going to be a real flurry of excellent TV, I am not exaggerating. The third month of the year is already shaping up to be a busy one for streaming services and broadcasters. Whether it’s the sharp Hollywood satire The Studio, starring Seth Rogen; the electrifying superhero series Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+; or the highly anticipated Argentinian thriller Atrapados, the first adaptation of a Harlan Coben work in Latin America, March is packed with exciting new releases.
Other options worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks include the crime drama Dope Thief based on the novel by Dennis Tafoya and produced by Apple TV+ and the light-hearted South Korean miniseries When Life Gives You Tangerines (폭싹 속았수다) on Netflix.
Here’s what’s in store for you in March 2025:
Daredevil: Born Again
Disney+ | Season Premiere | Release date: Tuesday, March 4
Matt Murdock returns to the Marvel Universe on March 4, 2025. This time, in a nine-episode season airing on Disney+. For those who haven’t yet seen the superhero series, here’s a quick recap: Daredevil originally premiered on Netflix (2015 to 2018) and was a breath of fresh air for the MCU.
Ten years later, the “man without fear” is finally back in the spotlight in his own series.
After tantalising nods in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Hawkeye (2021), She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) and Echo (2024), Charlie Cox returns full-time for Daredevil: Born Again. The sequel to the hit series brings back the familiar cast of heroes, villains and everything in between.
The official synopsis for Daredevil: Born Again reads:
“Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
Joining Cox and D’Onofrio in Daredevil: Born Again are Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson. One of the most notable aspects of the series is the introduction of actor Kamar de los Reyes as Latino superhero Tigre Blanco.
Daredevil: Born Again will be the MCU’s thirteenth series, and the second project centered on the iconic character.

Long Bright River
Peacock | Season Premiere | Release date: Thursday, 13 March
Emmy winner Amanda Seyfried stars in a new police drama and thriller from Peacock that returns her to her home state.
Based on Liz Moore’s bestseller, Long Bright River tells the story of Mickey Fitzpatrick, (Seyfried), a police officer patrolling a Philadelphia neighbourhood hit hard by the opioid crisis. When several women are murdered, she suspects the case may lead her to her sister, Kacey (Ashleigh Cummings), a missing sex worker and addict.
The series weaves between past and present, with flashbacks to the sisters’ strained relationship and divergent paths, as Mickey grapples with life as a single mother and her growing obsession with finding Kacey.
Nikki Toscano, the series’ director, said Long Bright River aims to challenge stereotypes about addiction, poverty, sex work and law enforcement. Toscano also explained that the series moves away from the traditional image of cops as saviours.
Dope Thief
Apple TV+ | Season Premiere | Release date: Friday, March 14
Created by Peter Craig (The Batman, Top Gun: Maverick) and produced by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien, Blade Runner), Dope Thief features an A-list cast, led by Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) and Wagner Moura (Narcos).
Adapted from Dennis Tafoya’s 2009 novel of the same name, the eight-part crime drama follows Ray (Henry), and his long-time friend Manny (Moura), who have been close since they met in a juvenile prison nearly twenty years earlier. Since then, the duo have developed a scam in which they use fake badges and jackets and pose as Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents to confiscate drugs and money from low-level dealers in their hometown of Philadelphia.
One day, however, they pick the wrong victim and unwittingly uncover the largest hidden narcotics corridor on the East Coast of the United States. As you might expect, this puts their lives in danger.
Dope Thief portrays Ray and Manny’s relentless fight for their survival and the survival of their own. Soon, the old friends will not only put their street skills to the test, but will also have to face the consequences of their decisions, as their loved ones become collateral victims.
The crime drama premieres Friday 14 March on Apple TV+, with its first two episodes.
Good American Family
Hulu | Season Premiere | Release date: Wednesday, March 19
Talented actress Ellen Pompeo returns to television to star in Good American Family, a series inspired by the controversial true story of Natalia Grace and her former adoptive parents.
The limited series follows the Barnetts, a Midwestern couple who adopt a Ukrainian orphan named Natalia Grace, who has congenital spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, a rare form of dwarfism, and whose first adoptive family “returned” her.
Eventually, however, the Barnetts begin to suspect that she is not a child and that their lives are in danger.
According to Hulu’s official synopsis:
“Told from multiple points of view, as a means to explore issues of perspective, bias, and trauma, this compelling drama is inspired by the disturbing stories surrounding a Midwestern couple who adopts a girl with a rare form of dwarfism. But as they begin to raise her alongside their three biological children, mystery emerges around her age and background, and they slowly start to suspect she may not be who she says she is. As they defend their family from the daughter they’ve grown to believe is a threat, she fights her own battle to confront her past and what her future holds, in a showdown that ultimately plays out in the tabloids and the courtroom.”
Bear in mind that Natalia Grace’s story made national headlines with her heart-breaking adoption journey, filled with competing stories of bullying and manipulation, which has left many wondering who the “bad guy” is in this unusual situation.
For a full summary of what happened, we suggest you also watch the documentaries: The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks and The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: The Final Chapter, all available on Max.
Created by Katie Robbins and executive produced by Robbins and Sarah Sutherland, the eight-episode Good American Family premieres March 19, 2025, with two episodes, followed by a weekly episode.
The Studio
Apple TV+ | Season Premiere | Release date: Wednesday, March 26
The charismatic Seth Rogen unravels the inner workings of Hollywood in his new series, The Studio, a ten-episode, half-hour comedy.
In the upcoming Apple TV+ show, Rogen plays Matt Remick, a production executive who yearns to greenlight art house films. But his is an unlikely goal after being promoted to head of a studio with a primary mandate to make commercial hits.
According to the Apple TV+ press release:
“Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.”
In addition to Rogen, The Studio stars Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn and Ike Barinholtz. The huge list of guest stars includes Bryan Cranston, Zac Efron, Ron Howard, Anthony Mackie, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Steve Buscemi, Adam Scott and many more.
Watch the first two episodes this month, followed by a new weekly episode until 21 May 2025.
Atrapados (Caught)
Netflix | Season Premiere | Release date: Miércoles, 26 de Marzo
Directed by Miguel Cohan (La misma sangre) and Hernán Goldfrid (Tesis de un homicidio), and produced by Vanessa Ragone (El secreto de sus ojos), this Argentinean miniseries is the first adaptation of a Harlan Coben work in Latin America.
The six-episode Atrapados tells the story of a renowned journalist who is dedicated to catching criminals. “From the city of Bariloche, in the Argentine Patagonia, journalist Ema Garay gains projection in digital journalism by catching criminals who usually evade justice. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Leo Mercer, a social referent who ends up being the main suspect in her investigation into the disappearance of a sixteen-year-old girl. While trying to get to the truth, Ema will be forced to confront herself,” the official synopsis describes.
The story, driven by crime, revenge and the search for the truth, also invites reflection on public opinion, the scope of rumours and the search for redemption.
Since 2018, Netflix has been adapting the works of the prolific author, and currently has nine series inspired by his works, with many more to be added in the near future. So far, we’ve had one French adaptation (Une chance de trop), one Polish (The Woods), and one Spanish (El inocente); the rest are mainly British productions.
With more than 80 million books sold worldwide, Harlan Coben continues to expand his narrative universe, working with local screenwriters around the world to bring his novels to the small screen.
