Who is your ideal listener? Who loves your show?
My ideal listener is the coach/consultant or someone in corporate who wants to use LinkedIn to raise their profile, build a valuable network on LinkedIn and loves life long learning like me!
What made you start this podcast?
I fell in love with podcasting about five years ago and started listening to lots of business podcasts for entrepreneurs – I decided to start my own – initially interviewing other women who had started a business and then niched down into sharing tips and advice about LinkedIn.
What have you learned about your subject thanks to this podcast?
I have learned that there are a lot of people out there who want to use LinkedIn, but aren’t really sure what to do, or are overwhelmed by the platform – which then determines what I create episodes about!
What has your experience of podcasting been? What do you love / hate about the process?
I find recording the shows easy – I have used an editor from the start which helps. Until I had a VA I struggled with consistency in terms of marketing the podcast – there are so many steps to create show notes, social media posts and actually getting your podcast out there!
If someone wants to start listening to your podcast, which episode would you recommend they start with? Why?
LinkedIn – have you got the basics right – is a good place to start.
Some of my episodes go into more deep content so I recommend you have your basic building blocks in place for LinkedIn.

I listen to BizChix Podcast, Stacking your Team, Social Media Marketing by Mike Stelzner and Abby Herman’s Stories in Small Business.
