The next day, she is abruptly kidnapped by Noh Man-hee (Kim Dae-myung), a criminal hiding behind the facade of an academy director.
Desperate to save her, Tae-ju is plunged into an extreme crisis and a web of deception that forces him to become two things at once: a fugitive from the law and the captors’ most relentless pursuer.
This ambitious production consists of a total of 12 episodes, which will air every Saturday and Sunday starting July 4, 2026. Local fans will be able to follow the story on KBS2, while international audiences can enjoy it via global streaming on Disney+.
No Tengo Miedo (I am not Afraid)
Netflix | Premiere Season | Release date: Thursday, July 9
Genre: Rural and social drama, Suspense, Mystery
Based on the novel of the same name by Niccolò Ammaniti, No Tengo Miedo (I Am Not Afraid) is a six-episode thriller miniseries set to premiere on Netflix on July 8. This highly anticipated production masterfully reimagines a gem of Italian literature, transposing its plot to the harsh social reality of Mexico.
It’s June 1986 in a hidden corner of Veracruz. Amid the excitement of the World Cup and the legendary “Hand of God” goal, a group of children enjoy their freedom in the coffee plantations under a sweltering sun. However, their summer fun comes to an abrupt halt when one of them stumbles upon a secret: a kidnapped boy.
Directed by Ernesto Contreras (Sueño en otro Idioma, El Secreto del Río), the story follows Miguel through a stifling rural landscape. Everything changes when a children’s game leads him to an abandoned lot where he discovers Felipe, a boy his own age trapped in an underground well. As he tries to rescue him in secret, Miguel unravels a devastating truth: the kidnapping was orchestrated by his own community and his humble family, who see this crime as the only way out of their deep poverty.
No Tengo Miedo transcends the drama of kidnapping to become an emotional journey about a child’s courage in the face of adults’ moral bankruptcy. It is a painful yet beautiful story about the loss of innocence, where a child’s loyalty and sense of justice clash head-on with selfishness.
Little House on the Prairie
Netflix | Premiere Season | Release date: Thursday, July 9
Genre: Family drama, Historical Western, Epic survival adventure
On July 9, Netflix will premiere a new adaptation of Little House on the Prairie, based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder and starring Alice Halsey. The series is part family drama, part epic survival story, and part account of the origins of the American West.
“I always like to say that this show is a love story about a family. They’re a family you want to be with, you want to get to know, and you want to spend time with,” showrunner and executive producer Rebecca Sonnenshine tells Tudum. “That’s really at the core of what Little House on the Prairie is about: a family that is there for each other, tells stories to each other, and tells stories about themselves.”
Inspired by the third book in Laura Ingalls Wilder’s series, the first season follows the Ingalls family as they face the harsh conditions of 19th-century prairie life, including fever, wolves, and fire. This adaptation expands on the original narrative to explore, through parallel family stories, both the settlers’ dreams and the devastating consequences of westward expansion for the Osage Nation.
Netflix’s adaptation of Little House on the Prairie consists of eight episodes.
Ride or Die
Prime Video | Premiere Season | Release date: Wednesday, July 15

Created by Tessa Coates, Ride or Die follows best friends Debbie Claybourne (Octavia Spencer) and Judith Burton (Hannah Waddingham), who thought they knew everything about each other—except that Judith turns out to be an international assassin. When a mysterious figure from Judith’s past emerges and a job goes horribly wrong, their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to flee together.
According to the official synopsis, it’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals hot on their heels.
Alongside Waddingham and Spencer, the cast of Ride or Die includes Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, Jacky Ido, Sylvia Hoeks, and Bill Nighy.
All eight episodes will premiere on Wednesday, July 15, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
El Mapa de los Anhelos (The Map of Longing)
Netflix | Premiere Season | Release date: Friday, July 17
Genre: Family drama and grief, coming-of-age, emotional and intimate stories
Alice Kellen’s literary phenomenon is making the leap to the screen. On July 17, Netflix will premiere the highly anticipated miniseries El Mapa de los Anhelos (The Map of Longing), based on the best-selling novel published in 2022. Unlike the original book, which is set in the United States, this ambitious screen adaptation reimagines the story of love and self-discovery in a purely Spanish setting.
The plot tells the moving story of Greta, a young woman born with the sole purpose of saving her sister Lucy — who is suffering from leukemia — through a stem cell donation. When Lucy dies, Greta is plunged into a deep existential void, stripped of the role that defined her entire life.
However, before she dies, Lucy leaves her one last gift: The Map of Desires, a game designed to challenge her to face her pain and discover her own path. On this journey of healing, Greta will cross paths with Will, an enigmatic young man tormented by his own past, raising the series’ central question: can we love someone without loving ourselves?
Spanning six episodes, Netflix’s El Mapa de los Anhelos examines the weight of family expectations, the grief of a ‘savior sister,’ and the reconstruction of one’s own identity through a posthumous game of self-improvement.
With a distinctly female and intimate gaze behind the scenes, the limited series is directed by Laura M. Campos (Valeria) and Gemma Ferraté (Citas Barcelona), with a script by Isa Sánchez.
